A proportionally downsized version of the original Dojo Worm 6.5, the Dojo Worm 4.5 (a.k.a. “Young Grasshopper”) provides an excellent option when the fish are more interested in a “snack” than a full-sized meal, which is quite often!
Similar to the original Dojo Worm 6.5, the Dojo Worm 4.5 was designed with versatility in mind. This small-profile finesse worm excels in all the same techniques as it’s bigger brother, including Texas rig, wacky/neko rig, Carolina rig, and especially the shakey head. In addition, a big door has been opened for this small worm, and that is the drop-shot technique. The Dojo Worm 4.5 is offered in several colors which excel in this technique, including Aquamarine and Morning Dawn. And we even offer this worm in our Drop-Shot Kits including hooks and weights!
Like all of our soft plastic baits, the Dojo Worm 4.5 is scented with Zee Bait Co “bass syrup”, and very lightly salted to create a “neutral buoyancy” underwater - allowing for either a tail up presentation on a nose-weighted rig, or a "suspending” horizontal presentation on a weightless rig. No details were overlooked in creating the perfect soft plastic worms!
If we can only have one soft plastic bait in the tackle box at a given time, it is guaranteed to be the Dojo Worms (in both sizes!).
